RELIEF SALE SCHEDULE
The 46th Annual Nebraska Mennonite Relief Sale will be held March 28-29, 2025 at the Holthus Convention Center in York, Nebraska. Check out the schedule of events below for auction start times, booth openings and when each meal is taking place.
friday
8:00a–3:00p Booth & Auction Setup
– Volunteers are welcome to help us get the convention center ready for the sale. Setup is a come-and-go time slot, but all booths must be ready to open at 4:00pm.
A free will donation lunch will be provided during setup.
10:00a–6:00p Donation Check-In
– Auction donations can be checked-in for the sale using the doors on the North side of the building. See map for check-in location.
Pre-registered items that have a registration slip/registration number attached can be left at the pre-registered drop-off location. Items that have not been pre-registered need to be taken to the check-in desk.
3:30p–8:00p Bidder Numbers Available
– Bidder numbers are good for both days and can be used to purchase items at all auctions, booths, and meals. Once done with your purchases for the day, return to the same location to settle your bill (cash, check, & credit cards accepted).
4:00p–7:00p Evening Meal
– Walking Taco Meal: Walking tacos and a drink.
– Pork Sandwich Booth: Pork sandwiches, chips, candy
4:00p–8:00p Booths & Concessions Open
– About MCC, New Year’s Cookies, Apple Prieshka, Market, Ten Thousand Villages, Homemade Ice Cream Bars, Pie by the Slice, Mementos, Fat Quarters, Golf Tournament, Pork Sandwiches, Drinks, My Coins Count.
6:00p–8:00p Friday Night Auction
– New to the sale this year we will have a combined auction. A variety of auction items including quilts, comforters, wall hangings, table runners, crafts, furniture, tools, home decor, toys, meats, and much more will be available for sale.
** Surplus Auction
– A surplus (leftover food) auction follows with packaged leftovers from the evening meal.
Saturday
7:00a–9:00a Breakfast
– Pancakes served with made-to-order eggs, sausage, coffee, and milk or juice.
8:00a–10:00a Donation Check-In
– Auction donations that didn’t make it to the sale on Friday can still be checked in on Saturday. Earlier check-in is preferred since the auction also starts at 8:00am. Use the doors on the North side of the building. See map for check-in location.

8:00a–4:00p Booths & Concessions Open
– About MCC, New Year’s Cookies, Apple Prieshka, Market, Ten Thousand Villages, Homemade Ice Cream Bars, Pie by the Slice, Mementos, Fat Quarters, Golf Tournament, Pork Sandwiches, Drinks My Coins Count.
8:00a–4:30p Main Auction
– New to the sale this year we will have a combined auction. A variety of auction items including quilts, comforters, wall hangings, table runners, crafts, furniture, tools, home decor, toys, meats, and much more will be available for sale.
11:00a–12:00p Kid’s Auction
– Head over to the Kid’s Korner for an auction where the kids get to bid. All children must be accompanied by an adult with a bidder number.
11:00a–1:00p Noon Meal Options
– Verenika Meal: Traditional Mennonite verenika (boiled or fried) served with cream gravy, ham, coleslaw, zwieback, and a drink.
– Windsor Loin/BBQ Chicken Meal: Your choice of a bbq chicken breast or a Windsor loin served with au gratin potatoes, green beans, roll, and a drink.
– Pork Sandwich Booth: Pork sandwiches, chips, candy
** Surplus Auction
– A surplus (leftover food) auction follows with packaged leftovers from breakfast and the noon meals as well as anything not sold at the booths..
*Auctions will start at the listed time; however, length will vary depending on the number of items to sell.
