41st Annual Relief Sale

Due to the widespread impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the board of directors faced some difficult decisions. The Relief Sale was initially set for March, when the United States first started seeing cases of COVID-19 and the CDC recommended public gatherings limit sizes. With the health and safety of volunteers, participants, and the community in mind, the sale was postponed. The board hoped the spread of the virus would diminish enough for the sale to occur later in the year; however, with no changes in June, the sale was converted to a last-minute online auction.

In addition to the online auction, small groups hosted their own fundraisers to help support the sale and Mennonite Central Committee in whatever way possible.

Even though the sale may have been different this year, we were glad to support MCC despite the uncertain and challenging times.
